VERKTIKA Kft. has been established in 1990 with the 50%-50% participation of an Austrian and a Hungarian private partner. Export-import wholesale trade was at the core of the range of activities, mainly with CIS countries, especially Russia.
After the regime change the government-managed export of key food and pharmaceutical products ceased. Through specific ministerial authorisation we were able to market these products in bulk due to the overwhelming demand. Later, after large trade firms realised the opportunity as well our turnover started to dwindle, and profile reorientation became a necessity for us.
In 1992 the share of the Austrian partner has been acquired, and ever since we have operated as a family business.
Due to our trade experiences, we had gained knowledge and competence in transportation, therefore from 1994 on we gradually shifted our activities to forwarding. Instead of product sales, we provided our existing trade partners with the organisation and implementation of freight transport. Foremost among them was TAURUS Rt – later Michelin Kft, our first large commissioning partner, with whom we have been in contractual cooperation ever since.
Our list of multinational clients now also includes Electrolux Lehel Kft, Electrolux Poland Sp., Hankook Tire Magyarország Kft., Procter & Gamble Co., Philips, Marso Kft., Bericap Bt, Pioneer Hi-Bred Termelő és Szolgáltató Zrt.
We are also cooperating with numerous smaller companies which also provide us with custom orders from time to time.
We organise transport primarily from Hungary, Romania and more recently from Italy to the CIS countries, especially Russia, the Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
Any profits accrued are reinvested into the company, which enables us to provide highly competitive conditions for our carrier subcontractors.
We are contracted with Hungarian, Slovak, and Ukrainian carriers. Most of them have been working with us for more than 20 years, providing a strong guarantee of secure transport for both us and our consigners.
In 2018 we expanded our operation through the registration of VERTIKA TRANS Kft., a Hungarian-Ukranian joint venture carrier company in Hungary, which currently runs 9 trucks.
We pay particular attention on promotion as well. Nearly 50 curtainsider trucks now run with our company brand.
Larger tenders are not our of our scope either. Most of the orders are directly consigned to us from the exporting or importing firms, enabling us to set favourable fees and to provide continuous contact options.
